Why Did You Start This Service?

I have been using journals for the last few years specifically for learners with English as a second language. I have found that the review and reflection provided by internet blogs have been invaluable in critiquing activities and learning.

The two questions which I constantly ask are: What have you (learner) learned today? And What have I (me) learned today? Perhaps they are the most important questions for any educator.

Blogs certainly capture this information and is one example of a number of fundamental teaching and learning activities that blogs can support. In addition, I hope it will provide the opportunity to network and share ideas, providing a forum for educators to discuss and build communities. They are essential tools for learning. Indeed a basic human right. I wanted a service committed to education, providing rich and diverse functionality. I couldn’t really find something that was truly focused on education.

So here it is.

This service is free, and it will always be free. Enjoy :)

Block One

I, Janine Bowden, will be successful in life because I am willing. I am willing to go the distance to do what I feel will make me a better person and make my life worth while. I have faith in myself that I will get the job done, whether it’s being a great scientist or a store clerk. I will be magnificent and beyond that. I’ll muster up all the courage I have in me when I feel discouraged and lost. I’ll question everything around me if I see a reason. Leadership is something I will show, not just towards others, but towards myself as well.
I will seize the moment and study it from every aspect. I am anxious to learn what I need to know and more. I will exceed in reaching my goals because I know I can. I will undoubtedly do my best to be me and stay true to myself. I will never falter but will stay knowledgeable until my brain stops.
I will make bold decisions but smart ones. I will not get involved with people who will try to bring me down or question my actions. I will trust those who trust themselves and befriend those who befriend themselves.
I will voice my opinion and stick to my principles. I will not past judgment on people and stay driven. I will stay noticeably aware of anything and everything that can help further my education. I will thoroughly look over and anything that can affect me negatively and positively.

I, Janine Bowden, will be successful in life because I can. When I reach my goal which ever it may be, I will not stop. I will stay youthful, maybe not in body, but in mind and soul all my life. Visualizing me doing anything I wish to do. I will be inviting towards new ideas and challenges. I will represent my family and my life in a respectable way. I am me and that’s how I’ll stay, because that alone is successful.
